Dear friends,

It has been approximately a year or two since your child was baptized into the Body of Christ.

On the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, we would like to celebrate the first or second anniversary of your child’s new birth in Christ. At the Mass the children will renew their baptism and receive a special blessing.

Last year we couldn't celebrate because of Covid. We are away Covid is still with us. Therefore, we have some safety precautions in place:

• • Every family who registers will be assigned a pew. That pew is only for you and members of your family. If you have extra family members who can't fit in your pew, they sit elsewhere in the Church in pews that are not assigned to another family.

  • Everyone will be encouraged to wear a mask. 

  • At the end of Mass, instead of having the party in the school or the Murphy Center, we will have it outside.

  • As you leave the Church, we will have cake, coffee and hot chocolate outside the Church near the front entrance. 

  • We'll sing happy baptism birth to the kids there and you can take home something to eat. 

  • If whether permits and you wish to stay a little longer to greet each other, we'll be outside where it is safer to do so.

It is our hope that you will join us to celebrate this spiritual milestone in your child's life.
